As soon as you unplug there should not be enough energy in the caps to keep the OS running. Try unpairing and re-pairing the remote to see if it resolves the issue. I also have the optical cable connected. For me the sound bar wouldnt turn on after long periods of bo use and id have to unplug the power supply, wait 30sec, plug in power, wait to turn on, press music on Bose remote to confirm sound, then TV on bose remote for it to work. if people with LG TVs are having issues with various branded sound bars, then maybe it’s a LG problem, although i haven’t found any other threads/discussions which might suggest this. Cannot find anywhere if this will work with the 700. I called Bose customer support knowing fully well that the issue os related ti my TV communicating with the HDMI CEC is so great, but the implementation is a piece of crap. Sounds like that may help.
